Hello World!
Rae here. I'm relatively new to crafting and blogging so I am combining both of them. I come from a family of crafty folks. My mom, dad and two sisters are all very crafty. Crafts never came easy to me and I struggled to find something I was good at. It all came about through a neat little website called Pinterest. My sister introduced me to this addictive site. Through it, I found a wreath with felt flowers on it. I thought it was really cute and really, how hard could it be? I bought some felt, googled felt flowers and went from there. Fifteen or so felt flowers later, I branched out into felt creatures. Some of them are for brooches (pins), others don't have a reason :). My first creature was an owl, too big to be a pin, but I am fond of him nonetheless. I have since created a giraffe, panda, pig, fish, and a bird (just the heads of the first three!). It's a very fun way to occupy my time and my hands. It's interesting and cool to see what other people have come up with and try to copy their ideas...! I'm not very good and nothing will probably look awesome even after more practice, but hey, it's fun! A crafting we will go..... <Rae>
